The GOS – 91 – The transformation of the in-charge

The Grace of Siddha series can be read here.

Siddha AgastyaHe is ever active, ever merciful and pours love to those who take refuge at Him. GnanaBoomi is humbled to present the Sitthan Arul series in English for its readers. See for yourself if any of these incidents relates to you, if it has any message to you or, if it gives a whole new perception about anything for which you may be looking for an answer. It is indeed true, if you believe in the Siddha Agastya, He is there for you!

The Kretho Yuga had 17,28,000 years. Then came the Dretho Yuga for 17,96,000 years after which came the Dwapara Yuga that lasted 8,64,000 years. Now it is Kali Yuga whose duration is 4,32,000 years out of which 5107 years have passed. Once the remaining years pass by, the Kali Yuga will come to an end, states the Puranas. The Jyotish Shashtra emphasizes this too.

It is impossible to see God in this yuga. But it could have been possible in the other yugas, they say. Even if the Almighty appears and carries out miraculous things, no one will believe. It is a time where both the rationalists as well as the spiritualists might think that it is all a
cheating game. In such a time, the happenings of the past yugas, the avatars, the incidents of divinity might have disappeared in due course of time. How can them be established in this time, the question might arise, which can be backed up by the facts of researchers of various discipline too.

But apart from these, there lies a strong faith that the Almighty will protect us if we pray to Him and be devoted. It is possible to see God
through the help of Siddhas. The information comes out of the Nadi will be helpful in this regard. Such a blessing is nowhere available but in
TamilNadu. But if everyone’s wish comes true through the Nadi, then what is the need of visiting temples, doing good, listening to upadeshas,
learning and contemplating of the Vedas, Shashtras and all? No one will follow them, in addition to being less devoted. This probably is a reason why everything does not happen as it is said in the Nadi for everyone.

Whatever be it, Agastya Muni will guide, then why should I abide by my Karma? No need! Agastya Muni will take care of everything. Such a
mentality might arise as well. The Siddhas like Agastya may guide very well, but neither He will spoonfeed, nor will He nullify the effects of
Karma in one shot. But it is for sure that He will protect us from great dangers, which again depends on one’s fate and truthfulness. This is an
experience I obtained from reading the Nadi.

One might ask, “if everything will be alright when the right time comes, then why should we read the Nadi?” Well, to have our mind set right, to
know the effects of Karma and hence to abide by it, why such an obstacle, how can we get rid of it, with such a thought and to have a noble vision of helping others, the Siddhas might show us the way, this may well be the reason to read the Nadi.

It is also true however, those who ‘need’ and ‘seek’ the Nadi, let them come and those who does not believe in it, may stay away. There is no loss or gain for the Siddhas in either of these.

I was thinking all these and was contemplating that it was the grace of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha and meditating the Mount of Ahobila, the in-charge came out and said that he will do an archana to the Nadi by placing it in the Shrine of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. I was surprised and shocked.

How come, the person who seldom believed in the Nadi is now changed?

The next day he performed the archana to the Nadi in methods supposed to be. Then he came out with the prasad, “I do not believe in anything other than Lord Narayana. I am serving Lakshmi Narasimha for 20 years. When you read the Nadi yesterday, I did not believe it. I was thinking that there is nothing higher than Narayana. But when Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Himself told me that “Agastya Muni is my beloved and you should not think ill of Him. Take the Nadi and place it in my Shrine and do archana, with all due respect!” in a divine voice (asareeri).

At first, I thought of it as a dream and left it. They say that Lord Narayana comes around this Prakara. But I felt the Lord saying this to me
the second time, in my ears. I lost my sleep and opened my eyes. It was twelve in the night. I was waiting that the Lord shall complete the third round, and I came running to tell this to you. This is what happened.” – said the in-charge.

I didn’t say anything. I was thinking, “How to go to Ahobila? Should I go with the Nadi or not? Right here is the Lord of Ahobila. I had the darshan of this Lord through the divine smell, what other blessings do I need?”

The in-charge took the Nadi out of the Garbha Gruha and gave it with the flowers and Thulasi. I touched my eyes with the Nadi as if praying and I then realized that the same smell of green camphor, sandalwood, the dark Thulasi leaves from the Nadi. I was shocked.

“Swamy, have you given green camphor?”

“No?”

“Sandalwood??”

“I have made a paste and have kept it elsewhere. I haven’t brought it here yet.”

“Then how come this Nadi reflects the smell of these things?” I asked the in-charge, who was the priest as well.

“May I touch it?”

“Sure!”

He took the Nadi from my hands and smelled it and was surprised.

“This indeed is the Prasad of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. If the smell of these things is so overwhelming, it is divine. The green camphor which is kept to be mixed in the holy water (theertha) is lying there in His feet still. The sandalwood paste is there in the temple kitchen. How come the smell of these are coming out of this Nadi?!”

“I have been serving the Lord for such a long time. I never have had such an experience. I now believe completely in the Nadi, Agastya Muni and yourself” – he was very pleased and I was speechless.

I bid farewell to everyone there and came to the bus stand with so many good thoughts. The crowd there said that it may take around 4 hours to reach the basement (Keezh Thirupathi). Why not just walk down instead of waiting? The rest is Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy’s grace, I would have walked down a bit. An ambassador car came closer to me and a person seated inside called me. I have never seen him before and he appeared very wealthy. He asked, “are you going downwards?”

“Yes”

“Me too and there is space in the car. Please aboard.”

I was happy on a side but on the other side, how can I get inside? What will be the effect of this? I am a very very (add another hundred ‘very’)
ordinary person, not a VIP. Due to the lack of sleep and two days worth of beard, reddish eyes, no one would ever wish me ‘good morning’.

My past experience with the Nadi, Agastya Muni not appearing for quite some time, due to which all those who abandone me etc., made me think, when this wealthy person invited me in. I was very happy and hopped in.

We were quiet for a while and he eventually asked about me and the Nadi in my hands. Is this not sufficient for me? I started boasting so much about myself, how I did penance in Rishikesh, how Agastya Muni has bestowed the entire world inside the Nadi and all that. It was probably a reverse psychological effect, abandonment and now recognition.

As he was listening to my boasting with great interest, I had no control. He then asked, “All this is fine, can you do me a favour, by asking
Agastya Muni?”

“Whatever it is, I shall ask sir!” – I said, having forgot the fact that the Maha Muni won’t appear.

“Two things, first, my daughter, even at the age of 24, haven’t attained puberty yet. No use in various surgeries done, even by going to foreign
countries. Will she be blessed to give birth to a child? Or will her life be like the same as it is now? Should I give away all my property to
Tirumala or to an orphanage? – this is one.

Second, I have got a cancer in my foot, in the bone. Can Agastya Muni cure this? It is not impossible for Him. If cannot, all that you said about the Nadi is all just fairy-tale.” “It is merely waste that you read the Nadi, you may as well stop it, is my opinion.” – he said.

You could imagine my position!
