The Grace of Siddha – 39 – A Unique Wedding

The Grace of Siddha series can be read here.

These are not stories. They are real incidents. Read through these and do reflect if anywhere, anything in these series is resonating with your own self. Do you feel any of these telling anything to you? Do you feel yourself that any of the phrase is a reflection of yours? Is there an answer to you in these?!

“Please check if these two horoscopes match” – came a person handing over two of them to me.

“Let me tell you via the Agasthiyar Nãdi” – I kept the horoscopes down without opening.

He grabbed hold of my hand at once and said, “Sir, please check only the horoscopes and tell me, I do not require the Nãdi to be checked”

“Why you don’t believe in Nãdi?” – I asked.

“I checked many a Nãdi and am tired of it. Please calculate them for me” – I asked Agastya’s approval for the same.

We will dwell in your tongue. Calculate and tell him” – said the sage and so I kept the Nãdi down and checked those horoscopes. Then I mentioned a few shortcomings and said that its better to schedule the marriage after six months.

“What will happen if it is scheduled now?” – countered the person.

“The marriage will happen. But they will not be able to be united for six months. Only then will their real married life will start” – said I.

“Please tell us if there is any remedial measure for this. If we do that, then even if the marriage happens now, there won’t be a separation know?” – he persisted.

He must be a smart one, I thought. He has probably checked these horoscopes in various other places. Only then he posts questions after questions without a moment’s pause.

I suggested him a few measures and still said, whatever he does, the real married life will start only after six months if the marriage is conducted now. He didn’t appear to have listened to the remedies I suggested and he left. About one and a half months passed.

A lady from a big shot’s family came and mentioned about her daughter, who is well educated and is working in the USA. The mother asked about the daughter’s marriage and about Jeeva Nãdi.

The lady who is seated here, her daughter lives in a foreign land, fell in love with a person and married him. Neither the Mother nor anyone knows about it. Agastya’s beloved son, yourself, do not display as if you know it either” – said the Sage and further instructed, “tell her that the marriage will happen after four and a half months and only then it is good for her“.

As it was suggested to me as a Deva Ragasya, I told the Mother that the marriage will happen in 4 and a half month and it will be done in a unique manner, with an intended stress.

“What would be the unique method?” asked the lady. I only smiled but never said anything. This confused the lady and she left. I felt that I should have told her the truth and whether I have done any mistake etc. But since it was an instruction from Agastya Muni, I kept silent.

Four months went by.

What came in the morning newspaper shook everyone out.

The flight that took off from the USA fell in the ocean due to a bomb blast and about 400 people lost their lives. – this was the news.

Agastya Muni instructed to lit -Moksha Deepam- to all the 400 of the passengers. I did just as He said and when I came back, the same person who came with the horoscopes came to me appearing very worn out and was in a hurry.

“What’s the matter?”

“I would like to talk to you for about five minutes in private” and he forced me to a secluded place.

“Do you remember me asking you to check the horoscopes alone, but not the Jeeva Nãdi?”

“Yes, of course. What’s about that now?”

“You also suggested to get the marriage done after six months”

“Let us not beat around the bush please, come to the point”

“One of the horoscope was my own son’s. When I showed this to you, he got married already. I concealed it from you and showed you his horoscope. The girl whom he got married to, was returning from the USA after a training and is now killed in that gruesome flight accident” – I was slightly shocked when he said this whilst crying. I asked him to lit “Moksha Deepam” for that girl. It took some time for him to relax.

Before he set forth, he asked if I can read the Jeeva Nãdi now.

Please come after some time as there is an impurity with you now (theetu, referred in Tamil, which is not really a physical attribute of impurity) and I cannot read it now” – I consoled him and sent him off.

Ten days went by.

The same lady came back and asked “Sir, do you remember me asking about my daughter’s marriage a few days back?”

I nodded, “I remember very well. The girl of yours in the USA, I remember suggesting the wedding be done after four and a half month’s time and not now”

“Did Agastya say anything about the girl?” – asked the lady.

“Why?”

“An incident has happened. I came here to know if it was true or not.”

Since Agastya Muni had already mentioned about the daughter, I thought it is not of use to keep this as a secret anymore.

“Amma, your girl in the US has already married a person and never told you about it. Though she got married, the real married life for her will be only after four and a half month, is what Agastya said. Since he mentioned it as a Deiva Ragasya, I concealed the first part and told you only the latter half of it.”

“Even you have hidden this. How is it fair? I believed you totally and then only I came here right?” – asked the lady. It was fair what she asked, but how can I disclose something the Muni tells me as a Ragasya?

“Do you know something? The person whom my daughter got married to, he came to meet me from the USA and has been killed in a plane accident. My daughter just called up and said this. Can I know why this is so, by reading the Nãdi?”

I didn’t say anything but left it to Agastya Muni who said:

This lady’s daughter got married without letting her family knowing it. For her and the deceased husband, the married life won’t last long. Hence I said that her marriage will happen after six months as it sounds like ‘the marriage will happen in a unique way“.

The lady, not sure what she felt, got up at once and said ‘I shall come back’.

These two people are terribly affected by the plane crash. One has lost his wife and a lady has lost her husband within a very short span of their wedding. Both have consulted the Jeeva Nãdi separately. Why is this? This question kept occurring to me for some time. A few months passed by.

On an evening, the person who lost his wife and the daughter who lost her husband in the plane crash came to meet me with their parents. When I enquired, they said they met in an airport and have been discussing about their losses, which resulted in friendship, subsequently changed to love. They got their parents’ blessings and have got married. They came to meet me and to get the blessings.

This is what I think the Sage meant as “this has to wait for six months and that a unique wedding will happen

Somehow, something good happened and I am happy for that!
